چکیده
Forest fire is one of the most common natural hazards occurring in Western Ghats region Kerala and reasons for forest degradation. This disaster causes considerable damage to biodiversity this during dry season. The area selected present study, Eravikulam National Park, which predominantly grassland vegetation, also prone fires. study aims delineate risk zones Park using remote sensing (RS) data geographic information system (GIS) techniques. In methods such as Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) Frequency Ratio (FR) were used derive weights, results compared. We have seven factors, i.e. land cover types, normalized difference vegetation index, water slope angle, aspect, distance from settlement, road prepare zone map. prepared maps divided into three zones, namely low, moderate, high. From it was found that due well anthropogenic factors. are validated incidence period January 2003 June 2019 collected records Survey India. investigation revealed 72% 24% incidences occurred high AHP FR methods, respectively, ascertained superiority method over mapping. receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis gives an under ROC (AUC) value 0.767 0.567 respectively. will be useful staff department, planners, officials management department take effective preventive mitigation measures.

Fire is the most spectacular natural disturbance that affects the forest ecosystem composition and diversity. Fire has a devastating effect on the landscape and its impact is felt at every level of the ecosystem and it is possible to map forest fire risk zone and thereby minimize the frequency of fire. There is a need for supranational approaches that analyze wide scenarios of factors involved ...

Investigation of forest fire hazard areas in Golestan province based on fire risk system index (FRSI) using the technique (GIS)
Abstract Fire in natural resources is one of the crises that causes irreparable damage to ecosystems and the environment every year. The purpose of this research is to attempt to study areas of risk aversion and to prepare a map of forest fire hazard area by integrating topographic data and other additional information from a GIS system for Golestan province. In order to carry out this resear...
